Overview

Defines an Agent-to-Agent (A2A) directory with AgentCards, servers, clients, and documentation for implementing the A2A protocol. Provides reference server and client code plus a standardized AgentCard schema to advertise capabilities, endpoints, and trust metadata. Includes examples and docs to help teams adopt a common discovery and communication pattern for agent ecosystems. A2A protocol AgentCard

The Value Proposition

As agents interact peer-to-peer, a shared directory and AgentCard format make discovery and attribution reliable — a prerequisite for measuring agent track record and reputation. Until now many projects re-invented capability advertising; this repo gives a canonical schema and runnable examples so evaluators and operators can consistently log and evaluate agent interactions. That consistency is essential for building multi-agent trust and A2A evaluation pipelines. Capability Discovery Pattern AgentCard

Ideal For

Teams adopting agent-to-agent communication who need a reference implementation for discovery, capability advertising, and protocol conformance.

Applications

  • Standardizing agent discovery and capability advertising with AgentCards
  • Bootstrapping A2A servers/clients from reference implementations for interoperability
  • Collecting consistent metadata to support agent-to-agent evaluation and reputation tracking
